This is a brand new aftermarket stator for the Husqvarna SM 610, TE 610, SMS 630 and TE 630. The stator is the fixed winding assembly that sits behind the flywheel and generates all of the electrical power the bike uses. Every time the engine turns, the magnets in the flywheel sweep past these windings and produce the alternating current that the regulator rectifier converts into the DC that charges the battery and runs the lights, fuel pump, ignition and instruments. When a stator breaks down the whole machine suffers, so it is worth fitting a properly wound replacement rather than the cheapest available part.
This unit is a direct replacement for the original Husqvarna item. It is plug-and-play with no assembly, no re-pinning and no splicing required, and it is built with the highest grade of lamination materials and the highest grade of copper winding, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius. The pick-up pulsar coil is included and already fitted, and the connectors and rubber grommet are supplied with the unit along with the opposite connector for the main harness side, which is the part most often melted or corroded on a bike that has been running a failing charging system. Every product shipped is tested before it leaves the warehouse.

What is included?
The stator with the pick-up pulsar coil already fitted, the connectors, the rubber grommet, and the opposite connector for the main harness side. The stator cover gasket and flywheel are not included.
How do I know the old stator has failed?
A dead or dying stator normally shows up as a battery that will not hold charge, dimming or flickering lights that get worse as the revs rise, hard starting after a short ride, or an intermittent misfire caused by a failing pick-up coil. The definitive test is a resistance check: measure between each yellow wire, which should read about 0.4 ohms, and between the green and red source wires, which should read about 100 ohms. A reading that is open circuit, shorted to the engine cases or a long way outside these figures confirms the stator has failed.
Does the pick-up coil come with it?
Yes. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied already mounted on the stator plate, so you replace both parts in one operation and do not need to transfer the old coil across.
