This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging unit used across the Kawasaki KVF 750 Brute Force, the KRF 800 Teryx and the KRT 750 and 800 side by side models. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it mounts in the standard position and connects to the existing loom with no cutting and no modification. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied on the assembly, which means the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging winding.
The unit is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, which matters on a working ATV or utility vehicle where the engine and the charging system both run hot for long periods. A connector and a rubber grommet are included, and a long 950 mm lead from the grommet to the plug lets the harness route the same way as the original. All products shipped are tested.

How do I know whether my old stator has failed?
Compare your multimeter readings with the Technical Specs table above. The alternator winding should read about 0.6 ohms white to white and the pick-up about 500 ohms green to blue, each within 20 per cent. A reading well outside those figures, or continuity from a winding to the stator body, points to a failed unit.
My machine is a Teryx rather than a Brute Force - is this the same part?
