Stator for Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Ninja 300 ABS
Ninja 300 2013-2017 - Ninja 300 ABS 2015-2017 - EX300 - Part RMS010-105028
This is a brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging coil fitted to the Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the Ninja 300 ABS, both of which carry the EX300 model code. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part: it uses the original mounting points and mates with the original wiring harness connectors, so no cutting, splicing, soldering or other modification is needed to fit it. The stator is the component that generates the machine's charging current, and once it begins to break down the battery will no longer be kept topped up no matter how far you ride.
The unit is wound with the highest grade of copper, rated to 200 degrees Celsius, on a high grade lamination core, which is what allows it to survive the heat inside the engine case far better than a tired original. A pickup coil, the connectors and a rubber grommet are supplied with the stator. RMSTATOR also include an extra connector assembly in the box, because on these machines the harness-side connectors are very often melted, corroded or otherwise defective by the time the stator itself has failed, and replacing the stator alone would simply leave the fault in place. Every unit is bench tested before it is shipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. On the models and years listed in the fitment guide above it is a direct fit. It uses the original mounting holes and the original harness connectors, so there is no cutting, splicing or soldering involved. Before ordering, please confirm the OEM number stamped or labelled on the unit you are removing reads 21003-0128.
What is included in the box?
The stator itself, the pickup coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet. RMSTATOR also include a spare main harness-side connector assembly, so that the side of the plug that stays on the bike can be renewed at the same time.
How can I tell that my old stator has failed?
The usual signs are a battery that will not hold its charge however far you ride, dimming lights that get worse as engine speed rises, and a charging voltage at the battery that never climbs above resting voltage. To confirm it electrically, unplug the stator and measure across the two black alternator wires: you should see about 0.4 ohms, plus or minus 20 per cent. Measure the pickup coil from white/yellow to green/white: it should read about 200 ohms, plus or minus 20 per cent. A reading far outside those figures, an open circuit, or any continuity between a winding and the stator body means the stator has failed.
Why does it come with an extra connector?
Because a failing stator normally overheats its own plug. By the time the windings give up, the harness-side half of the connector is frequently melted, corroded or high in resistance. Fitting a new stator into a damaged plug simply carries the fault across, so the spare connector assembly lets you renew both halves and finish the job properly.
