A brand new aftermarket generator stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and ZZR 600. The stator is the fixed three-phase winding inside the alternator cover that produces the AC current the regulator/rectifier converts into the DC supply which charges the battery and feeds the ignition, lighting and instruments. A stator with a shorted or burnt phase cannot maintain charging voltage, and the machine will run on battery power alone until it stops.
This replacement is wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, on highest grade lamination materials. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit using the original mounting points and the original loom plug, so no cutting, splicing or modification is needed. Connector and rubber grommet are included, and the opposite connector for the main harness side is supplied as well, because that half of the joint is frequently melted or corroded on high-mileage machines.

How do I know my old stator has failed?
Disconnect the plug and measure between each pair of white wires. A healthy unit reads about 0.7 ohms, within plus or minus 20 per cent, and no white wire should show continuity to earth. A battery that goes flat in use, dimming lights and charging voltage that will not rise with revs are the usual symptoms.
