This is a brand new aftermarket stator, built as a direct replacement for the original charging coil fitted to the KTM 690 Duke and the 690 Enduro SMC. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it mounts on the original fixings and connects to the standard three-pin plug without any modification to the engine cases or the wiring harness. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
The stator is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. It gives 20% more output over stock while working with all other OEM components, so the standard regulator rectifier, battery and loom can be kept exactly as they are - useful headroom on a big single that is often run with heated kit, auxiliary lighting or navigation equipment. Connectors and a rubber grommet are included, and the opposite connector for the main harness side is supplied as well, because that plug is often melted, corroded or defective and is a major cause of repetitive electrical issues.

Does it fit without modification?

What is included?

How do I know the old stator has failed?
The usual signs are a battery that goes flat despite being healthy, dim or flickering lights, and charging voltage that stays at battery level with the engine running. Confirm with a meter across the three black wires: a good unit reads about 0.4 ohms black to black and open circuit (O.L) from any black wire to ground. Readings well away from those figures point to a shorted or open winding.
Will the extra output damage my regulator rectifier?
No. Although this unit produces 20% more output over stock, it is designed to work with all other OEM components, so the original KTM regulator rectifier, battery and wiring can all be retained.
