This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator, built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Polaris Outlaw 110 and Sportsman 110 youth quads from 2016 to 2023. It is supplied complete with the pickup pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet already fitted, so the assembly is plug-and-play. Every unit shipped is tested before it leaves the warehouse.
The stator is the charging and ignition heart of the machine. Its twelve poles generate the alternating current that keeps the battery topped up, while the pickup pulsar coil bonded to the same plate tells the CDI when to fire. When the windings break down - usually from heat, vibration or oil contamination - the symptoms are a battery that will not hold charge, dim or flickering lights, a weak or absent spark, and eventually a machine that will not start at all. This unit measures 88 mm across the outer diameter with a 29 mm interior diameter and an 18 mm thickness, carries five wires through a single five-pin plug, and reads 1 ohm across the yellow alternator wires and 120 ohms across the pickup coil. It comes with it. The pickup pulsar coil is supplied already mounted on the stator plate, which is why the assembly carries five wires through a single five-pin plug rather than needing a second part.
