This is a brand new aftermarket 660W stator, built as a direct replacement for the original charging coil fitted to the Polaris Ranger and Ranger Crew 570, the Sportsman 450 HO and 570, and the PRO XD and PRO XD Crew 900. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it mounts on the original fixings and connects to the standard loom with no modification. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
The stator is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, which is what allows an 18-pole unit of this size to run continuously at 660W without cooking its insulation. The pick up pulsar coil is supplied with the assembly, so the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging coils, and connectors and a rubber grommet are included with the part.

How do I know my old stator has failed?

Use the figures above to confirm: about 0.4 ohms across the source windings and about 125 ohms across the pickup. Readings far outside those values point to a shorted or open winding.
Is 660W the same output as my original stator?
