Generator Stator for Sea-Doo DI Watercraft

Brand new aftermarket generator stator, supplied under RMSTATOR part number RMS010-101524 and built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to Sea-Doo direct injection watercraft. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit assembly, so the wiring loom and the stator housing are left exactly as they are - there is no cutting, splicing or drilling involved in the installation.
The stator is wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade lamination materials. Overheated windings are one of the most common reasons an original stator stops charging, so the temperature rating of the copper matters on a watercraft that spends its life working hard in a hot engine bay. The connector is supplied with the part and every unit is tested before it is shipped.

Will this stator fit without modification?

How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
The usual signs are a battery that will not hold its charge and weak or erratic ignition. Measuring wire to wire across the yellow leads should read approximately 0.7 ohms, with a tolerance of 20 per cent. A reading well outside that range, or continuity between a winding and the stator body, points to a failed stator.
Are the windings suitable for hot running conditions?
The copper windings are resistant to 200 degrees Celsius and are wound on the highest grade lamination materials. Heat damage to the windings is a common failure point on original units, so the temperature rating is one of the more useful things to compare when replacing one.
