Will this fit my 1997 Suzuki DR650SE?
No. This stator is specifically designed for the earlier DR650S/RS/R models (1990-1995). The 1996+ DR650SE uses a completely different stator design and is not compatible with this part.
What should I check before installing?
Always check the AC output and inspect your regulator/rectifier. We recommend applying hi-temp dielectric grease to all connectors and using a locking compound when bolting the stator into the housing.
