A brand new aftermarket generator stator, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Suzuki GN 250 and TU 250 singles. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper, which is rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius. The pick-up pulsar coil is included on the assembly, together with the connector and the rubber grommet. We also supply the opposite connector from the main harness side, because on machines of this age that half of the plug is often melted, corroded or defective and is a major cause of repeat electrical issues. Renewing both halves at the same time is the reliable way to cure a charging fault rather than see it return. Does it fit without modification?
Yes. The stator is a direct replacement for the original unit on the GN 250 and the TU 250 across the years listed in the fitment table. It mounts in the standard position behind the left-hand cover and plugs into the standard connectors, so the loom does not need to be cut or spliced.
What is included?

How do I know the old stator has failed?
Look for a battery that will not hold its charge, lights that brighten and dim with engine speed, or a bike that runs only until the battery is exhausted. With the engine off and the plugs disconnected, measure between each pair of yellow alternator wires: you should see 0.4 ohms +/- 20%. Across the pickup, from green to blue/white, you should see 200 ohms +/- 20%. An open circuit, a short between phases, or continuity from a winding to the stator body all confirm a failed unit.
Does the same stator really cover both models?
Yes. Suzuki used the same generator stator on the GN 250 from 1982 to 2001 and on the TU 250 from 1997 to 2016, under OEM references 32101-38300 and 32101-38302. Checking the number stamped or labelled on your original unit against those two references is the quickest way to be certain before ordering.
