A brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Suzuki RM 125 and RM 250 motocross bikes from 1989 to 1995. It is a plug-and-play, direct-fit assembly: the 58 mm outer diameter, the 28 mm bore and the four-wire output all follow the factory pattern, so the original comes out and this one goes straight in with no cutting, splicing or loom modification.
This is the ignition-side stator carrying the pickup circuit and the ignition source coil, supplied complete on its back plate with the pick-up pulsar coil and the rubber grommet already fitted. The windings are the highest grade copper insulated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius, laid on the highest grade lamination stack, and the 500 mm harness gives ample length to route back to the CDI. Every unit is electrically tested before it is despatched.

Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct fit for the Suzuki RM 125 and RM 250 built between 1989 and 1995, supplied on its own back plate with the correct four-wire, four-pin output. What is included?

How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
With a multimeter on ohms, measure the pickup circuit between the Red and Green wires - it should read about 102 ohms - and the ignition source coil between White/Red and Black/Red, which should read about 25 ohms. Both figures carry a tolerance of plus or minus 20 per cent. Then check each wire against the stator body: any continuity to earth means a winding has shorted. No spark at all usually points to the pickup, while a weak or intermittent spark points to the source coil.
Does the same stator really suit both the RM 125 and the RM 250?
Yes. Suzuki used a common ignition stator across both capacities through this period, which is why the cross reference list spans several part numbers. The safest check is the number stamped or printed on your original unit rather than the model badge on the bike.
