A brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Suzuki RM 125 motocross bike from 1996 to 2000. It is a plug-and-play, direct-fit assembly: the 65 mm outer diameter, the 26 mm bore and the two-plug, ten-pin connector arrangement all follow the factory pattern, so the original comes out and this one goes in with no cutting, splicing or loom modification.
This is a full ten-wire stator carrying the alternator windings, the pickup circuit and the ignition source coil, and it is supplied complete on its back plate with the pick-up pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet already fitted. The windings are the highest grade copper insulated to 200 degrees Celsius, laid on the highest grade lamination stack. Every unit is electrically tested before it is despatched.

Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct fit for the Suzuki RM 125 from 1996 to 2000, supplied on its own back plate with the correct two plugs and ten pins, so it mates with the standard loom. No cutting or splicing is needed. Confirm the part number on your original unit against the cross reference table before ordering.
What is included?
The stator on its back plate, the pick-up pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet, all supplied fitted. The flywheel, the ignition cover and its gasket are not included and should be reused from your bike.
How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Work through the circuits with a multimeter on ohms. The alternator windings between the Black/White wires should read about 0.4 ohms, the pickup between Red and Green about 115 ohms, and the ignition source coil between Black/Red and Red/White about 27 ohms, each within plus or minus 20 per cent. Then check every wire against the stator body - any continuity to earth means a winding has shorted. On an RM 125 a failed source coil normally shows as a weak or absent spark, while a failed pickup gives no spark at all.
Do I need to set the ignition timing after fitting?
The back plate carries the same slotted mounting arrangement as the original, so mark the position of the old plate before you remove it and set the new one to match. If the marks were disturbed, time the ignition to the figure in the Suzuki workshop manual for your model year.
