This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Suzuki RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 motocross machines. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it mounts in the standard position and connects to the existing loom with no cutting and no modification. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied already fitted to the assembly, so the ignition trigger is replaced at the same time as the charging winding.
The unit is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Connectors and a rubber grommet are included. RMSTATOR also supply the opposite connector for the main harness side, because that connector is often melted, corroded or defective and is a major cause of repeat electrical issues. All products shipped are tested.

Will it fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and is plug-and-play, so it uses the standard mounting position and plugs into the existing harness. No cutting, splicing or drilling is required.
What is included in the box?
The generator stator with the pick-up pulsar coil fitted, the connectors including the opposite main harness side connector, and the rubber grommet. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
How do I check whether my old stator has failed?
Use a multimeter and compare your readings with the Technical Specs table above. The alternator winding should read about 1.8 ohms yellow to yellow and the pick-up coil about 100 ohms red to green, each within 20 per cent. Readings well outside those figures, or continuity between a winding and the stator body, indicate a failed unit.
Why is a spare harness side connector supplied?
The connector on the main harness side is often melted, corroded or defective by the time the stator is replaced, and that damaged connector is a major cause of repeat electrical problems. Supplying the opposite connector lets you renew both halves of the joint in one go.
