A brand new aftermarket generator stator for the Triumph Street Triple 675 R, Speed Triple R and S, and Tiger Sport. It is supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit and is plug-and-play: the 115 mm outer diameter, 42 mm bore and 18 mm thickness match the factory stator, and the single three-pin plug is already fitted on a harness made up to the original lengths.
This is a three-wire, 18-pole alternator stator - a charging winding only, with no pick-up coil built into the assembly, which is how these triples are arranged from the factory. It is wound with the highest grade of copper, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade of lamination material. That temperature rating is the specification that decides how long a stator survives in a tightly packed triple, where the failure mode is almost always heat breaking down the winding insulation rather than mechanical wear. Connectors and the rubber grommet are included.

Does this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct fit for the original unit, with the factory three-pin connector already fitted and the harness made to the original lengths, so no splicing or drilling is required. Confirm the number on your original stator against T1300118, T1303139 or T130313918 before ordering.
What is included?
The stator assembly with connectors and the rubber grommet. This part is a charging stator only - it does not include a pick-up pulsar coil, and no crankcase cover gasket is supplied.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
Set a multimeter to ohms and measure between each pair of the three black wires - each pair should read 0.6 ohms +/-20%. Then measure from any wire to the stator body: it must be open loop. Continuity to ground, or a phase reading well away from 0.6 ohms, means the winding has failed. A battery that keeps going flat and lights that dim at higher revs are the usual road symptoms.
Should I replace the regulator rectifier at the same time?
It is worth testing it. A regulator rectifier that has partially shorted will overload the stator windings and can take out a new stator, so check the charging voltage and the regulator's diode behaviour before fitting the replacement rather than after.
