This is a brand new stator for the Yamaha BR250 Bravo 250 snowmobile, including the Bravo L and Bravo LT variants, built between 1982 and 1987. It is a complete plate assembly: the charge coil, the lighting coil and the pickup pulsar coil are all mounted and wired on one stator, so a single part restores both the ignition supply and the lighting output.
The core is built from the highest grade of lamination material and the windings use the highest grade of copper, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Quality exceeds the original equipment specification. A rubber grommet and a back plate are supplied with the unit, the connector is pre-installed, and additional connector pins are included so a corroded original plug can be renewed at the same time. All units shipped are tested.

Will this fit without modification?
Yes. It is built as a replacement for the original stator plate on the Bravo 250, Bravo L and Bravo LT and mounts in the original position with the connector already installed.
What is included in the box?

How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Measure each winding with a multimeter against the table above: about 0.4 ohms from black to yellow for the alternator winding, about 200 ohms from black to red/white for the pickup coil and about 397 ohms from black to brown for the source winding, all within 20 per cent. An open circuit on any of the three, or continuity from a winding to the plate, means the stator has failed. Weak or flickering lights usually point at the lighting winding, while a no-spark condition points at the source or pickup winding.
Do I need to buy the coils separately?
No. The charge coil 8R4-85520-M0-00, the lighting coil 8R4-81313-M0-00 and the pickup pulsar coil 8R4-85580-M0-00 are all fitted to this plate, so the single part covers all three.
