Yamaha FZ6 and FZS6, 2004-2009 - replaces OEM 5VX-81410-00-00
A brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging unit fitted to the Yamaha FZ6 and FZS6. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part that goes straight back into the original position with no modification to the engine cases or the wiring loom. The part number is RM01553.
The unit is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. As well as the connector and rubber grommet on the stator itself, the opposite connector for the main harness side is supplied in the box, because these are often melted, corroded or defective by the time the stator is changed. All products shipped are tested.

Does this stator need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct, plug-and-play replacement for the original Yamaha unit on the FZ6 and FZS6, supplied with the connector and rubber grommet already fitted. No cutting or splicing of the loom is required.
What is included in the box?
The stator assembly, the connector, the rubber grommet, and the opposite connector for the main harness side. All products shipped are tested.
Why is a second connector supplied?
The connector on the main harness side is often melted, corroded or defective by the time a stator fails, so the matching opposite connector is included. That lets you renew both halves of the joint in one go rather than plugging a new stator into a damaged plug.
How do I know my original stator has failed?
Check it with a multimeter. This unit reads 0.4 ohms +/- 20% black to black across the windings. A reading that is open circuit, shorted to earth, or well outside that figure points to a failed stator.
