This is a brand new high output stator rated at 300 watts for the Yamaha YFM 350 and YFM 400 Big Bear, Warrior, Wolverine and Raptor. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and fits plug and play, with no rewiring or modification needed. The extra output gives you headroom for a winch, spotlights, heated grips or a plough without flattening the battery on every ride.
The windings are the highest grade of copper, rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius, wound on the highest grade of lamination material. The unit measures 114 mm across the outside, 53 mm inside and 13 mm thick, with 35 mm bracket to bracket, seven wires, two plugs and seven pins. The pick-up pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet are supplied fitted, and the opposite connector for the main harness is included as well to deal with the corrosion and melting these plugs are prone to. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

Will this fit without modification?
Yes. Despite the higher output it is a plug and play direct replacement for the original stator on the listed models, using the same 35 mm bracket spacing and the original connectors. Check the number on your existing unit against the cross reference table before ordering.
What is included?
You receive the stator with the pick-up pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet fitted, plus the opposite connector for the main harness. The flywheel and the cover gasket are not included.
How do I know my stator has failed?
Measure across the white alternator wires - each pair should read 0.4 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent, with no continuity to earth. The pick-up should read 518 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent from green to blue, and the position sensor 0.1 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent from red to white/blue. A battery that keeps going flat, a charging voltage no higher than battery voltage with the engine running, or a short to earth on any winding all point to a failed stator.
Do I need a different regulator rectifier for 300 watts?
No. This stator is built as a direct replacement and works with the standard charging system on the listed models. It simply gives more available output, which the existing regulator rectifier controls in the same way as the original.
