This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to Yamaha WaveRunner personal watercraft and Yamaha 1800 sport boats. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit assembly that uses the original mounting points and the original wiring route, so no modification to the engine, the hull or the main harness is required to fit it.
The stator is built on highest grade lamination materials and wound with highest grade copper windings that are resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied already mounted on the stator plate, and both the connector and the rubber grommet are included. The opposite connector for the main harness side is also supplied, because the original connectors on these machines are frequently found melted or corroded and are a common cause of repeat electrical faults. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.

Will this fit without modification?
Yes. This is a direct replacement for the original stator on the models listed above. It is plug-and-play and uses the original mounting points, the original grommet route and the original connectors, so no cutting, splicing or drilling is needed.
What is included?
You receive the stator with the pick-up pulsar coil already fitted, the connector, the rubber grommet, and the opposite connector for the main harness side. The main harness connector is included because the original ones are often melted or corroded and cause repeat electrical faults.
How do I know my original stator has failed?
The quickest confirmation is a resistance test with a multimeter. Between each green alternator wire you should read 0.4 ohms +/- 20%, and the pick-up coil should read 520 ohms +/- 20% from black to white. An open circuit, a reading well outside those figures, or continuity between any winding and the stator core all indicate a failed unit.
Does this include the pick-up pulsar coil?
Yes. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied already mounted on the stator plate, so the trigger and the charging windings are replaced together in one assembly. The pick-up wire length to the grommet is 150 mm.
