RM01420 is a brand new generator stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to the Yamaha YFM 250 Raptor from 2008 to 2013. It is a plug-and-play, direct-fit assembly that mounts in the standard position behind the flywheel and connects to the machine's existing wiring, so nothing needs to be cut, spliced or rewired to complete the installation.
The pickup pulsar coil is supplied as part of the assembly on a generous 185 mm lead, so the ignition trigger is renewed alongside the charging windings instead of being carried over from a part of unknown age. On a 250 Raptor the two failures look much alike from the saddle - a flat battery, dim lights, hard starting or an intermittent misfire - so replacing both at once saves stripping the engine cover twice. Construction uses the highest grade of lamination materials and the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, and the connector and rubber grommet are both included.

Why are the two plug leads different lengths?
The two harness runs from the grommet measure 335 mm and 350 mm respectively, matching the original routing on the YFM 250 Raptor so each plug reaches its own connector without the loom being pulled tight or left slack against the engine.
