A brand new aftermarket stator supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit on the Yamaha YX600A Radian 600. The stator generates the AC current the regulator/rectifier converts into the DC supply that charges the battery and runs the ignition, lights and instruments, and this assembly also carries the pick up pulsar coil that triggers the ignition. When the windings short or burn, the battery stops charging and the bike will eventually run itself flat.
The unit is wound with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, on highest grade lamination materials. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit to the original mountings and loom connector, so no modification is required. The pick up pulsar coil, connector and rubber grommet are all included, along with the opposite connector for the main harness side, as these are often melted, corroded or defective and a major cause of repetitive electrical issues. All products shipped are tested.

Does this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original unit and installs plug-and-play on the standard mounting points using the original loom connectors. No cutting, splicing or modification is required.
What is included?
The stator with the pick up pulsar coil, connector and rubber grommet, plus the opposite connector for the main harness side so both halves of the joint can be renewed together.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
Measure between the white alternator wires, which should read about 0.8 ohms, and between the white/red and blue pickup wires, which should read about 101 ohms, each within plus or minus 20 per cent. A reading well outside those values, an open circuit, or continuity to earth points to a failed winding. A flat battery, dim lights and low charging voltage are the usual symptoms.
How many plugs does this stator have?
Five wires run to 2 plugs with 5 pins in total, matching the original layout. The leads measure 60 mm from the stator to the grommet and a further 955 mm from the grommet to the plugs.
