Generator Stator - Yamaha YXZ 1000 R & YXE 1000 Wolverine RMAX2
Yamaha YXZ 1000 R 2019-2024 and YXE 1000 Wolverine RMAX2 2021-2026 - RMSTATOR part RMS010-107076
This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit in the Yamaha YXZ 1000 R and the YXE 1000 Wolverine RMAX2. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit assembly: the pick up pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet are all supplied with it, so the complete unit drops into the stator cover and plugs into the standard harness with no modification.
The stator is wound on the highest grade of lamination materials using the highest grade of copper winding, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius. It measures 115 mm on the outside diameter with a 42 mm interior diameter and 23 mm of thickness, carries 18 poles across 5 wires and 4 plugs, and mounts through 5 holes. Alternator resistance measures 0.5 ohms white to white and the pickup measures 512 ohms black to grey, both within plus or minus 20 per cent. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
The stator is the fixed set of copper windings inside the engine cover that generates the alternating current the machine runs on. When it burns out, shorts to the case or loses a phase, the battery stops charging and the machine will eventually run only on what is left in the battery. A failed pick up pulsar coil in the same assembly will instead cause a no-spark or intermittent misfire condition. Replacing the whole assembly deals with both at once.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct replacement for the original unit on the models and years listed in the fitment guide above. The connectors and the rubber grommet are supplied, so the assembly seats in the cover and plugs into the standard harness with no cutting or splicing. Check the OEM number on your original unit against the cross reference table before ordering.
What is included?
The stator itself, the pick up pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet. It is supplied as a complete assembly rather than a bare winding.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
The common signs are a battery that keeps going flat, headlights that dim as the revs drop, and a machine that eventually will not restart after a run. Test it with a multimeter: alternator resistance between the white wires should read about 0.5 ohms and the pickup between black and grey should read about 512 ohms, both within plus or minus 20 per cent. An open circuit, a dead short, or continuity between any winding and the engine case means the stator has failed.
Does this include the pickup pulsar coil?
Yes. The pick up pulsar coil is fitted to this assembly, which is why the unit carries 5 wires across 4 plugs. If your fault is a no-spark or intermittent ignition condition rather than a charging fault, this assembly replaces the pickup as well.
