Brand new aftermarket stator, built as a direct replacement for your original unit. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part with easy installation, and every unit is tested before it is shipped. The pickup pulsar coil, connectors, rubber grommet and back plate are all supplied with the stator, along with the opposite connector for the main harness side - harness connectors are often melted, corroded or defective and cause faults of their own.
The stator is wound with the highest grade of copper winding, rated to 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade of lamination materials. It measures 109 mm on the exterior diameter and 27 mm on the interior diameter, is 32.6 mm thick and carries 4 poles across 6 wires into a single 6-pin plug. Pickup resistance reads 293 ohms plus or minus 20 per cent white/blue to white/red, with source coil readings of 858 ohms green/white to black/red and 53 ohms black to green/blue, each plus or minus 20 per cent.

Does it fit without modification?

What is included?

How do I tell the old stator has failed?
Measure the coils cold with a multimeter: pickup white/blue to white/red should read 293 ohms, source green/white to black/red 858 ohms and black to green/blue 53 ohms, each within 20 per cent. Open circuit, shorted or badly out-of-range readings, or continuity from any winding to earth, mean the stator has failed.
Why is the harness connector supplied as well?
Because the connector on the main harness side is often melted, corroded or defective by the time a stator fails, and refitting a new stator into a burnt connector simply repeats the fault. The matching opposite connector is included so both halves can be renewed.
