Generator Stator for Honda CBF 1000

Honda CBF 1000, 2006-2016 - RMSTATOR RM01078

This is a brand new aftermarket stator for the Honda CBF 1000, covering model years 2006 to 2016. It replaces Honda part numbers 31120-MFA-D01, 31120-MGJ-D01, 31120-MFA-D02 and 31120-MGJ-D02, and it is a direct replacement for the original unit. Installation is plug-and-play and direct fit: the stator bolts into the standard left-hand generator cover using the standard fixings, and the three-wire output plugs into the standard regulator/rectifier harness with no rewiring or adaptation.

The unit is built on the highest grade lamination materials with the highest grade copper windings, insulated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius. On a big touring four the stator is oil-immersed and runs continuously hot, and a stator failure is almost always the winding insulation breaking down and shorting a phase to the core rather than the copper itself giving up - so the thermal rating of the insulation is the specification that determines how long the replacement lasts. RMSTATOR also include the opposite connector for the main harness side, because these are frequently melted, corroded or defective and are a major cause of repetitive electrical issues. A degraded plug on that joint adds resistance, generates heat and can take out a new stator or regulator, so renewing both halves of the connection together is the correct repair. The stator-side connector and rubber grommet are supplied as well, and every unit is tested before shipping.
