This is a brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging unit fitted to the Honda TRX 650 Fourtrax Rincon from 2003 to 2005. It is plug-and-play and a direct fit, so it mounts in the standard position and connects to the existing loom without cutting or modification. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied on the assembly, which means the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging winding.
The unit is built on the highest grade of lamination materials and wound with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. That heat tolerance matters on a large utility ATV, where a stator that has been cooked by sustained low speed work is one of the commonest causes of a flat battery. Continuity to ground or a badly out of specification reading indicates a failed unit.
Do I need to replace the pick-up coil separately?
No. The pick-up pulsar coil is supplied already fitted to this assembly, so the ignition trigger is renewed as part of the same job.
