Frequently Asked Questions
Will this stator fit without any modification?
Yes, this coil pack mounts on the original baseplate in place of the factory unit for the listed Kawasaki KX 125/250 and Yamaha YZ 125 applications, with wiring connected by soldering to your existing loom.
What is included in the box?
One replacement stator coil pack (large and small coil), ready to mount to your existing baseplate.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
Common signs include no spark, a weak or intermittent spark, or the engine cutting out once warm - test the coil resistances against the values above to confirm.
Does fitting this coil require soldering?
Yes, the original wiring is cut close to the old coils and the new coil leads are soldered on in the same positions and insulated with heat shrink.
