This is a brand new aftermarket stator for the Kawasaki KLX 110 and KLX 110L, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit. It is plug-and-play, a direct fit and easy to install, and it comes as a complete assembly with the pick up pulsar coil already mounted, the connectors fitted and the rubber grommet in place - so the ignition trigger and the charging output are both renewed in one part.
The unit is built on the highest grade of lamination materials with the highest grade of copper winding, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Does this stator need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, plug-and-play and a direct fit. The connectors and the rubber grommet are supplied fitted, so the loom does not need cutting or splicing.

How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
With the engine off and the plug disconnected, measure from the white wire to ground - a healthy unit reads approximately 1.2 ohms +/- 20%. Then measure the pickup from blue/yellow to ground, which should read approximately 118 ohms +/- 20%. An open circuit or a reading well outside those tolerances confirms the unit has failed.
Does the KLX 110L use the same stator?
Yes. The KLX 110 and the taller-suspension KLX 110L share the same charging and ignition components and the same OEM number, 21003-0097, so this unit covers both.
