Stator for Ski-Doo Formula, Grand Touring, Mach and Summit 440-670
Formula, Grand Touring, Mach 1, Mach Z, MX-Z, MX-ZX, Skandic and Summit 440 / 500 / 580 / 670, 1993-1997 - OEM 410919000 - Part RM01344
This is a brand new stator built as a direct replacement to your original unit for Ski-Doo snowmobiles from 1993 to 1997, covering the Formula, Grand Touring, Mach 1, Mach Z, MX-Z, MX-ZX, Skandic and Summit models in 440, 500, 580 and 670 engine sizes. The stator sits behind the flywheel and does two jobs at once: the alternator windings generate the charging current for the battery and the lights, while the source coil supplies the ignition system. A failure in either set of windings leaves you with a flat battery, dim lights or no spark.
It is a plug-and-play direct fit and easy to install, with the connector included so nothing has to be spliced or soldered. Construction uses the highest grade lamination materials and the highest grade copper windings, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius - important on a machine where under-hood temperatures climb quickly and the stator is buried behind the flywheel. All products shipped are tested. The unit carries five wires into five terminals, with the alternator windings reading 0.4 ohms yellow to yellow and the source coil reading 13 ohms black/red to red.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does it need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement to your original unit - plug-and-play, direct fit and easy to install, with the connector included. Confirm OEM number 410919000 or 410916500 on your original stator before ordering.
What is included?
One brand new stator with five wires and five terminals, and the connector included. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
How do I know the original stator has failed?
A flat or never fully charged battery, dim or flickering headlights, and a loss of spark are the usual signs. Test with a meter: the alternator windings should read 0.4 ohms yellow to yellow, yellow to ground should show O.L on the display, and the source coil should read 13 ohms black/red to red. A short to ground or an open circuit confirms the stator has failed.
Why does the winding temperature rating matter?
The stator lives behind the flywheel where heat builds up quickly and has nowhere to go. Copper windings rated to 200 degrees Celsius resist the insulation breakdown that causes a shorted winding, which is the most common way a stator fails in service.
