This RMSTATOR kit pairs a brand new generator stator with the matching stator crankcase cover gasket, so the cover can be sealed properly on reassembly instead of being re-used. The stator is a direct replacement for the original unit and is plug-and-play, a direct fit and easy to install.
It is built with high grade lamination materials and copper windings rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius, and the pickup pulsar coil is supplied already fitted to the plate. The connector, the rubber grommet and an additional opposite connector for the main harness side are all in the box - the harness-side plug is a frequent failure point on a hard-used quad and renewing both halves at once avoids a repeat fault.

How do I know the old stator is the problem?
Test it with a multimeter. The alternator windings should read 0.4 ohms +/-20% between the Yellow wires and the pickup coil should read 208 ohms +/-20% from Blue to White. Open circuit, a short to the stator body, or readings well outside those figures confirm a failed unit.
Why is the cover gasket included?
Getting to the stator means removing the stator crankcase cover, and a used gasket rarely seals reliably a second time. Supplying the correct 11483-31G00 gasket in the kit means the cover goes back on properly without a separate order.
