RM01346 is a brand new stator built as a direct replacement for the original magneto stator fitted to the Suzuki LT-R 450 Z QuadRacer from 2006 to 2009. It is a plug-and-play, direct-fit assembly that mounts in the standard position behind the flywheel and connects to the machine's existing wiring through the supplied connector, so no cutting, splicing or harness modification is needed to complete the job.
The pickup pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet are all supplied with the unit. RMSTATOR also include the opposite connector - the main harness side half - because on a race quad of this age that plug is very often corroded, melted or partially pulled apart, and replacing both halves at the same time removes the most common source of an intermittent charging fault. Construction uses the highest grade lamination materials and highest grade copper windings resistant to 200 degrees Celsius. Note that where the original Suzuki part measures 107.30 mm, this unit measures 102.80 mm.

No. It is a plug-and-play, direct-fit replacement for the original unit. It mounts in the standard location and the supplied five-pin connector plugs into the existing harness, so no cutting or splicing is involved.
What is in the box?
The stator, the pickup pulsar coil, the stator-side connector, the opposite main harness side connector and the rubber grommet.
How do I tell whether my original stator has failed?
Unplug it and test it cold with a multimeter. The alternator windings should read about 0.4 ohms yellow to yellow and the pickup about 200 ohms blue to green, both within 20 per cent. Readings that are open circuit, near zero, or that show any winding shorted to the stator core point to a failed unit.
Why is a second connector supplied?
The main harness side plug on these quads is frequently found melted or corroded. RMSTATOR supply the opposite connector so both halves of the joint can be renewed together, which is often what actually cures an intermittent no-charge fault.
