A brand new RMSTATOR stator for the Yamaha Venture 500 and V-Max snowmobiles, supplied as a direct replacement for the original unit. It is plug-and-play, a direct fit and easy to install, and the pickup pulsar coil is included so the ignition trigger is renewed in the same job.
The stator carries eight wires across two plugs and combines the alternator, pickup, source and lighting circuits on one plate. It is built from the highest grade lamination materials with the highest grade copper windings, resistant to 200 degrees Celsius, and the connector and rubber grommet are supplied with it. All product shipped is tested.

How do I test the old stator before replacing it?
Use a multimeter across each circuit. The alternator should read 0.4 ohms +/-20% from Yellow/Brown to Yellow, the pickup 200 ohms +/-20% from White/Green to White/Red, the source coil 320 ohms +/-20% from Red/Black to Brown, and the remaining circuit 0.3 ohms +/-20% from Black to White. Any circuit reading open or shorted has failed.
Why does this stator have so many wires?
On these sleds the one plate carries the alternator windings, the pickup pulsar coil, the source coil and a further low resistance circuit - eight wires across two plugs in total. Replacing the plate renews all of them together rather than chasing one circuit at a time.
