A brand new aftermarket generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original charging and ignition unit fitted to the Yamaha Venture 700, SX Viper 700 and SRX 700 snowmobiles from 2000 to 2006. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit assembly that mounts in the factory position on the original fixings, so no modification to the engine, the flywheel or the wiring loom is required.
The pick-up pulsar coil, the connector and the rubber grommet are all supplied fitted to the unit. RMSTATOR also include the opposite connector - the main harness side half - because on these machines that connector is very often melted, corroded or otherwise degraded and is a common cause of repeat electrical faults. The stator is built on the highest grade lamination materials and wound with the highest grade copper, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius, and every unit is bench tested before it is shipped.

Does this stator need any modification to fit?
No. It is a direct replacement for the original unit on the Venture 700, SX Viper 700 and SRX 700, mounting in the factory position on the original fixings and plugging into the existing harness.
What is included in the box?
The stator assembly, the pick-up pulsar coil, the connector, the rubber grommet and the opposite connector for the main harness side. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
How do I tell whether the old stator has failed?
Common signs are a flat or under-charged battery, dim or flickering lights, a weak or intermittent spark, and cutting out when hot. Measure the resistance between each pair of white alternator wires and between the red and green pick-up wires and compare with the specification table above.
Why is a second connector supplied?
The connector on the main harness side of these machines is frequently found melted, corroded or otherwise defective, and that alone causes repeat electrical problems. RMSTATOR therefore include the opposite half of the connector so both sides of the joint can be renewed at the same time.
