This is a brand new replacement generator stator for Yamaha marine four-stroke applications, covering the AR 210 and SX 210 jet boats and the VX 1100 Waverunner personal watercraft in Deluxe, Sport and Cruiser trim. The original connector and grommet are reinstalled onto the new unit; once reassembled it is a plug-and-play part, a direct fit, and very easy to install. A connector is supplied in the box, and every product shipped has been tested.

Marine charging systems live a hard life. The stator sits in a sealed, poorly ventilated engine bay, runs at sustained high load while the craft is on plane, and is exposed to condensation and salt-laden air every time the hull comes out of the water. This unit is built with premium lamination materials and the highest grade copper windings, rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius, which directly addresses the thermal breakdown that finishes off most original stators.

Testing is straightforward. The three green output legs read approximately 0.4 ohms between each pair, so a basic multimeter is enough to confirm the health of the part before the engine cover goes back on. A craft that cranks slowly after a short run, will not restart from the water, or drains a known-good battery within a day or two is the classic pattern for a failed stator.
