A brand new aftermarket generator stator for the Yamaha XVS 1100 V-Star, supplied by RMSTATOR as a direct replacement for the original unit. It is plug-and-play, a direct fit and easy to install, and the pickup pulsar coil is already mounted on the plate so the ignition trigger is renewed at the same time as the charging windings.
The stator uses the highest grade lamination materials and copper windings rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius. The connector, with both plugs, and the rubber grommet are included, along with an opposite connector for the main harness side - that plug is frequently melted or corroded on a machine of this age and is a common cause of repeat charging faults. How do I test my existing stator and pickup coil?
With a multimeter, the alternator White wires should read 0.4 ohms +/-20% between each other and O.L. to ground. The pickup coil should read 190 ohms +/-20% from White to Black. Readings that are open circuit, short to ground or far outside these values point to a failed unit.
Do I have to buy the pickup pulsar coil separately?
No. On this part number the pickup pulsar coil is included and already fitted to the stator plate, so the ignition trigger and the charging windings are replaced together in one job.
