Stator - Yamaha YXE Wolverine 700
Yamaha YXE Wolverine 700 2016-2018 - RMSTATOR part RMS010-107084
This is a brand new aftermarket stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit in the Yamaha YXE Wolverine 700. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit assembly supplied complete with the pick up pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet, so it seats in the stator cover and plugs into the standard harness with no modification to the machine.
The stator is wound on the highest grade of lamination materials using the highest grade of copper winding, rated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius. It measures 108 mm on the exterior diameter with a 42 mm interior diameter and 23 mm of thickness, and carries 18 poles across 5 wires, 3 plugs and 5 pins. Alternator resistance measures 0.5 ohms white to white and the pickup measures 192 ohms black to grey, both within plus or minus 20 per cent. Every unit is tested before it is shipped.
The stator is the fixed ring of copper windings behind the engine side cover that produces the alternating current the whole electrical system depends on. Heat, vibration and oil contamination eventually break down the winding insulation, and once a phase shorts or goes open circuit the battery stops charging. Because the pick up pulsar coil shares the same assembly on this model, a single replacement restores both the charging and the ignition trigger side of the system.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct replacement for the original unit on the Yamaha YXE Wolverine 700 for 2016, 2017 and 2018. The connectors and the rubber grommet are supplied, so nothing needs to be cut or spliced. Compare the OEM number on your original unit, 2MB-H1410-00-00, with the cross reference table above before ordering.
What is included?
The stator itself, the pick up pulsar coil, the connectors and the rubber grommet, supplied as one complete assembly.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
Typical symptoms are a battery that will not stay charged, lights that dim at idle, and a machine that dies after a period of running. With a multimeter, alternator resistance between the white wires should read about 0.5 ohms and the pickup between black and grey about 192 ohms, both within plus or minus 20 per cent. Any winding that reads open circuit, or that shows continuity to the engine case, has failed.
How much heat can the winding take?
The copper winding is rated to 200 degrees Celsius, which is well above the temperature a Wolverine 700 stator cover reaches in normal use. That margin is the main reason a burnt-out original tends to be replaced rather than repaired.
