Stator for Suzuki LTF 250 Ozark and LTZ 250 Quadsport
Fits LTF 250 Ozark and LTZ 250 Quadsport, 2002 to 2014 - Part RM01396
This is a brand new aftermarket stator for the Suzuki LTF 250 Ozark and the LTZ 250 Quadsport, covering model years 2002 to 2014. It is a direct replacement for the original Suzuki unit and is supplied ready to fit, with the pick-up pulsar coil and the connector already in place. The stator mounts inside the left engine cover and generates the alternating current that the machine's regulator rectifier converts into the DC charging voltage for the battery, while the pick-up coil supplies the crank position signal that tells the ignition when to fire.
These two quarter-litre Suzukis are hard-working machines and the stator lives in a hot, oily environment right next to the flywheel, so the winding insulation and the pick-up coil are the parts that eventually give up. Typical symptoms are a battery that will not stay charged, headlights that brighten noticeably as you open the throttle, a machine that needs a jump start after standing, or an intermittent stumble that comes and goes with engine temperature. This unit is built with the highest grade lamination materials and the highest grade copper windings, insulated to withstand 200 degrees Celsius, so it tolerates the heat that killed the original. Every unit is bench tested before it is shipped.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will this fit without modification?
Yes. It is a plug-and-play direct fit for the LTF 250 Ozark and the LTZ 250 Quadsport across the 2002 to 2014 span. The mounting pattern and the two connectors match the original, so nothing needs to be cut or spliced. Confirm the OEM number stamped on your existing unit reads 32101-05G00 before ordering.
What is included in the box?
The stator unit, the pick-up pulsar coil and the connector.
How do I know my old stator has failed?
With a multimeter on ohms, measure white to white: a healthy alternator winding reads about 0.4 ohms, plus or minus 20 per cent. Measure green to blue for the pick-up: about 200 ohms, plus or minus 20 per cent. An open circuit on either reading, or continuity between any wire and the stator body, confirms a failure. A charging voltage at the battery that does not rise above resting voltage as you raise the revs points the same way.
Does the same stator really cover both the Ozark and the Quadsport?
It does. Both machines share the same 250 platform and the same charging system, and Suzuki used the single part number 32101-05G00 across them for the whole 2002 to 2014 run, so one stator covers the pair.
