A brand new generator stator built as a direct replacement for the original unit fitted to Arctic Cat 7000 series and Yamaha 1000 series snowmobiles. It is a plug-and-play, direct fit part, so installation follows the same route and mounting as the factory stator with no modification to the loom or the crankcase cover.
The unit is wound with the highest grade of copper winding, rated to resist 200 degrees Celsius, on the highest grade of lamination materials. The mating connector and rubber grommet are supplied fitted, and every stator is tested before it is shipped. Part number RM01242S.

Will this stator fit without modification?
Yes. It is a direct replacement for the original unit, so it mounts in the factory position and uses the factory connector. No cutting, splicing or drilling is needed provided your machine is one of the models and years listed in the fitment guide.
What is included?
The generator stator, the mating connector and the rubber grommet. Fasteners and the crankcase cover gasket are not included, so re-use the originals or order them separately.
How do I tell whether my old stator has failed?
Measure the resistance between each of the three white alternator wires with the connector unplugged. Each reading should be close to 0.4 ohms, within plus or minus 20 percent. A reading that is open circuit, near zero, or that shows continuity to the stator body indicates a failed winding.
Can I use this on both an Arctic Cat and a Yamaha machine?
Yes. The Arctic Cat 7000 series and the Yamaha 1000 series share the same charging system, which is why both sets of OEM numbers cross to this part. Confirm the OEM number stamped on your original unit before ordering.
